What is a non surgical face lift?

Also known as the 8 point face lift, a non surgical face lift is used to address the loss of bone and fat that occurs with ageing. During the procedure, dermal fillers are injected in 8 points to give a natural, youthful glow without any surgical treatment. The type of dermal fillers used will be tailored to your specific needs.

The 8 points targeted in the face lift are:

  1. Cheekbones
  2. Tear troughs
  3. Nasolabial folds
  4. Corners of the mouth
  5. Pre-jowl area
  6. Jawline
  7. Lower cheeks
  8. Chin

Results are visible immediately, with minimal downtime, and last between three to eighteen months depending on the filler used.

What are dermal fillers?

At Optimise Aesthetics, the dermal fillers we use are FDA-approved, reversible hyaluronic acid gels, which are injected into targeted areas for subtle but impactful results. Just like the hyaluronic acid that your body naturally produces, synthetic hyaluronic acid fillers degrade slowly over time and are naturally broken down by enzymes in the dermis layer of your skin.

Benefits of a non surgical face lift using dermal fillers include:

  • Contouring of face, neck and jawline
  • Deep hydration, as hyaluronic acid attracts water molecules
  • Plumping and firming effect, providing a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance
  • Gradual, natural breakdown over 3-18 months
  • Built-in local anaesthetic for added comfort

Why choose Optimise Aesthetics for your non-surgical face lift?

My goal with all non surgical face lifts is to achieve a refreshed, rejuvenated, natural-looking result with minimal or no discomfort. I have extensive aesthetic and microsurgical experience with a very light touch. This is essential to minimise discomfort during injection and allows me to fine tune my treatments to the patient’s desired outcomes. I am a qualified GP and aesthetic doctor (Level 7 Diploma Aesthetics). I have undergone extensive cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic training at Harley Academy. I specialise in treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, profhilo, microneedling and polynucleotides.

In addition, as a GP my holistic approach to my cosmetic work allows me to explore your medical history and any concerns you may have or have previously had with regards to past treatments elsewhere. My patients often describe me as calm and reassuring. I will always discuss budget prior to treatment and will be open and honest about how to achieve the best results according to your budget too.

Before and After

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a liquid facelift?

A liquid facelift, also known as a non surgical face lift, is a non-surgical rejuvenation that uses injectable dermal fillers. By strategically volumising cheeks, jawline, tear troughs, and nasolabial folds, it lifts and smooths wrinkles without scalpels. Results are visible immediately, are reversible if needed, and typically last 3–18 months.

What is the age limit for a non-surgical facelift?

Non-surgical facelifts have no fixed upper age cutoff. Pre-facelift consultations will focus on individual skin concerns and systemic health rather than an arbitrary age limit.

What does the 8 point face lift do?

The 8 point face lift is a liquid facelift protocol that places small volumes of dermal filler in eight strategic zones on each side of the lower face—cheeks, under-eye hollows (tear troughs), nasolabial folds, mouth corners, jowls, and jawline. This approach re-supports sagging fat pads, lifts the mid-face, defines the jawline, and subtly restores youthful contours.

How long does the 8 point face lift last?

Longevity depends on filler type and individual metabolism. Most patients enjoy 3–18 months of lifted, volumized results.

What are the side effects of the 8 point face lift?

Side effects are generally mild and transient. Expect swelling, bruising, redness, and tenderness at injection sites for 3–7 days. Less common risks include small lumps, infection, or vascular compromise—minimized by choosing an experienced injector and FDA-approved fillers.

What is the aftercare for 8 point face lift?

After your 8 point lift, gently ice treated areas and take paracetamol for comfort. Avoid ibuprofen, aspirin, alcohol, and herbal blood thinners for 24–48 hours. Skip saunas, steam rooms, and vigorous exercise for two days, and delay makeup for 24 hours. Follow your injector’s instructions on sleep positioning and sun protection to optimise healing.

What Our Clients Have to Say

I have had fillers in my nasolabial folds, my marionette lines and more recently, I have had fillers in my mid cheek area following weight loss on Mounjaro. The results have been absolutely amazing and really transformative.
